Zatanna puts a hex on Smallville

The powers that be must have a fetish for the fishnet stockings, because the last two future Justice Leaguers to guest star on the CW's Smallville are both infamous for sporting the classic leg wear. Luckily, neither of them are men (that would just be weird). Last season introduced Oliver Queen's permanent on again off again love interest Black Canary, who is now married to the emerald archer in comic continuity. On march 26th, magician Zatanna lends a helping hand in an episode appropriotely entitled 'Hex', in which Chloe and Clark each learn the true meaning of the phrase, "Be careful what you wish for". Model/actress Serinda Swan will play the magical hero who can only cast spells by reciting them backwards. Yzarc! Well, she definitely has the look down, but we'll just have to wait and see if she has anymore tricks up her sleeve.

IN OTHER SMALLVILLE NEWS:
In case you haven't heard, Smallville has recently been renewed for a 9th season. At this point one could only speculate on who will remain for the next season, but it's rumored that the entire core cast of season 8 will be back for another round. The only person in question right now is Sam Witwer, who plays Davis Bloome, ambumance driver and host to Doomsday. Though there is a chance Witwer may not return, Doomsday will definitely be making an encore appearance as pro wrestler Matt Morgan recently revealed that he was cast to take the place of current Doomsday actor Dario Delacio in the coming stories. At 7 feet tall Morgan's Doomsday should tower over poor Clark Kent. Now that sounds like a party!
